Just recently the Poker Players Alliance has unveiled a new iPhone application that is a bargain to download at just 99 cents.. Unlike many other poker-related iPhone programs, the application offered by the PPA has nothing to do with playing poker games or teaching people poker strategy. Instead, this iPhone program was created with the intention of promoting internet poker worldwide, and convincing governments in countries such as the United States to pass favorable poker laws.
Some features of the PPA’s new iPhone app is that it alerts players about starting times for various poker tournaments, delivers messages from pro poker player Twitter accounts, and offers the latest poker news. You may even find some brilliant rakeback deals by using the iPhone program! A really important feature of the application is its ability to allow people to contact US Government Officials and in turn lobby for much better poker legislation.
To get this 99 cent application, you need to do a search for the Poker Players Alliance and complete the poker download once you find it. While you’re downloading the poker software, you will notice that it’s only 2.1 MB, which really saves room on one’s iPhone. When the download is finished, you will be able to browse through the various different such as News, Contact Congress, Tweets and of course search for the Poker Tournament Schedules.
The tournament schedule is especially important because you will be able to find out when different online and casino poker events take place. This beats having to sift through every online poker room just to find out the information you need. If you need any help in learning how to play poker, even finding some poker training, you do look for any poker-related applications on the iPhone. This is also a brilliant way to find fantastic online poker deals that could earn you lots of money.
If you are not yet in possession of an iPhone, then you can still enjoy Full Tilt Poker and Littlewoods Poker from the comfort of your home. You never know you could win enough money to get your hands on an iPhone.

About 18 months ago I was struggling to pay my mortgage and household bills. Not enough money was coming in to the house even when me and my wife were working. We were struggling to fulfil our children’s need and also pay some of the bills. One day we were just mocking about Facebook playing free poker. I was always good in playing poker as I had been playing for a while now, then my wife had an idea. She wanted me to join an online poker room.
At first I said no because first of all we had no money second of all I want to save some money for our children’s need. She politely said ok how about you play with 20 pounds; we cannot lose a lot in that. I thought what the hell I will give it a go. So I signed up to a party poker team online. I signed up with £20 and started playing and after hours of playing I made the £20 to £100 and I stopped on £100 for the day. I didn’t tell my wife because I know she would be like play more. You should never be addicted to gambling and I don’t want to be doing this everyday.
I took that £100 and paid the bills for that month and then I realised we are back in the same position and struggling again. Then after few weeks I found a full tilt Rakeback £30 voucher in one of my old magazine. So I thought I can used this for poker and see what happens as it is a free voucher. I started playing the same eevning and after few weeks of playing my winnings was £300. From which I saved £200 and spent £100 for the household bills for that month and then I realized I have just saved £200. Then I kept playing for few hours every weekend and after few months my winnings was upto £3000.
I controlled the addictive nature of gambling and only played over the weekends. I wanted to give more time to my family and I did even though I was playing poker. Now after 18 months of poker I am a professional poker player and my savings is up to £50,000. Our life has changed.

Poker is a game where players need to have a certain degree of skill. To win at poker you need to have a really good memory and be great at reading other people whilst all the while maintaining your own unfailing ‘poker face’. Because of all these factors you have to wonder how online poker is so successful – if the whole point of the game is for players to be able to read each other’s expressions, then wouldn’t it be incredibly difficult to win against unseen opponents? But this could work both ways, and knowing that other players can’t see you might make it easier to hide your intentions behind that poker face even if things are going really badly.
Whichever way you look at it, online poker is a very different game. If nothing else, poker sites like Party Poker have brought the game to a much wider audience and give them the chance to bet as much or as little as they like. It’s much easier to bluff online, as the other players can’t see you so won’t be able to tell if you’re telling the truth. Of course this also works both ways because you can’t see them any more than they can see you and have no way of knowing what hand they have. You have to rely a lot more on memory alone but after a few games you can become just as skilled at online poker as the real game.
The danger of course is that a player who was new to the game and lost a lot of money could be tempted to go back and keep trying to win until they have nothing left. But as long as you’re careful and only bet what you can afford then online poker games could be a really good way to learn and have fun doing it. The only disadvantage to playing on popular sites like Party, Betfair and Everest Poker is that they make their money by taking a cut of every pot, called the rake, as commission. It’s worth looking around for a good online poker deal before signing up to a poker room, sites like raketherake.com have loads of great rakeback deals for most of the main online poker rooms.

A lot of folk try to stay away from gambling because they think that they will get addicted and end up losing all of their hard earned money, but I on the other hand think that if done correctly gambling can earn you a nice bit of extra cash like it has for me.
I personally began playing when I was about 20 years old and to be truthful I lost quite a bit of my cash when I first began, I believe it was because I was a bit naïve and thought I was the best player. But I made the decision to become a much better player, so I practiced and practiced and eventually became a very good player.
The game I was best at was poker, I was basically the king of the bluff and beat everyone in my local casino, which earned me a bit of extra pocket money. It was not until I got my first internet connection that I got obsessed with something called online poker, but it was a lot different online and a whole new ball game, things were a lot harder because you could not see who you were playing against and the whole purpose of poker is being able to tell when someone is bluffing. I again lost a bit of cash to start with but then I started to master the art.
There was a much bigger player base online and the jackpots that I was winning were huge amounts and I started to make a good fortune. Within the matter of a few years I managed to compile enough money to live nicely, so everyone that moans about gambling should at least try to play it.
For great games of full tilt poker and PKR poker enjoy winning great jackpots and getting rakeback
