There has been larger jackpots in Euro millions history but these have always been shared between several ticket holders. This huge single win is mathematical stand intact for along time, with the ticket holder beating odds of 76 million to one to cliam the jackpot
The previous record holder for the biggest Euro millions was Dolores McNamara of Ireland, who won a jackpot of GBP 77 million in July 2005.
The largest UK jackpot winner was from Scotland (Glasgow), the lucky winner that time being Angela Kelly, who won her £35.4 million EuroMillions jackpot just less than 2 years ago back in August 2007. Angela still holds the status of being the biggest lottery winner in history of the United Kingdom. .
To win the lottery you need to be extremely lucky - the exact odds of winning the top prize is 1 in 76,275,360 - the lucky euro millions jackpot winner needing to match the 5 main numbers from 1 to 50 and then choose the “lucky star” numbers from 1 to 9.
“These Euro millions jackpots have generated unprecedented world wide interest” said Ken McLeod a lottery syndicate organiser “people have been clamouring to grab a piece of the action and now they can buy their Euro Lottery tickets online from almost any where in the world”.
Ken demonstrated further how the syndicate system not only drastically cut the odds of winning but also guaranteed the “lucky star” numbers in every draw, thereby meaning you only had to get 5 numbers correct to win not the full seven.
Euromillions players who want to take advantage of this unique syndicate system are advised to review the Euro Lottery website and join prior to the next Fridays draw.

Once you have won a jackpot you life is definitely going to change. Whether it brings good or bad results depends on how and where you spend your winnings. Stories of lotto winners make an interesting news and have a big influence on future lotto winners. The saying “the more things change the more they remain the same” has often been found to be true when tracking the lives of some of the biggest lotto winners. Winning the jackpot is a very peculiar event where an individual gets an opportunity to affect the lives of numerous others who are not so lucky.
How often have we seen people having won the 649 jackpot declare, with a bottle of champagne in hand, that a jackpot win is not going to change them one bit. Though, the truth is more than half of 649 jackpot winner moved to a bigger house in the countryside. More than two thirds of the winners offered more than £ 1 million to relative and well wishers or friends. More than two thirds of all big lotto winners hold prime properties overseas. 90% of the big time lotto winners were in the workforce when they won, however, only 25% are still working. Most lotto winners are proud owners of more than one luxury car. More or less all winners still play the 649 lotto even today.
The year was 2005; Brad Duke was enjoying a normal life when lady luck smiled on him. Brad was a manager in Gold’s gym franchises when he won the $220 million Powerball jackpot. Brad received $85 million as his share of the jackpot and without wasting time he went about managing his finances. In order to handle his new found wealth Brad build a team of financial advisers within a month. His only aim was to be a billionaire by investing his money wisely. Brad capitalized more than half of his winnings in low-risk investments such as municipal bonds. 35 million were capitalized in financial instruments who have high risk high return such as stock, and real estate. He instituted a family foundation and gave $ 1.3 million, paid off his mortgage of $125,000 and student loan of $18,000, gifted each family member $12,000 and took his friends on a trip to Tahiti, the trip cost him a total $63,000. But amazingly he bought himself a used car, a black VW Jetta for $ 14,500. Today Brad posses wealth well over $140 million. Brad eventually went back to work at Gold’s Gym after a break.
Brad’s story is totally different from the story of a 19 year old Michael Carroll. Michael won a huge £ 9.7 million in November 2002 but muddled through to blow all the money. Today he has lost everything he won. Michael didn’t take the suggestion of skillful and well wishers and squandered the wealth that others only dream off.
These are some surprising stories of lotto winners. In case you happen to win a mega jackpot it is recommended that you enjoy the moment but sooner rather than later get back to earth and invest wisely.
Best of all.

Lottery Syndicates are a double edged sword. The have some major advantages and also some downsides.
The main advantage they have is that the syndicate can hughly increase their winning chances. The disadvantage is that they must share the winnings with all that are included in the lottery syndicate.
So what exactly is a Lottery Syndicate
A lottery syndicate is a group of people or those that are affiliated in an organization that pool their resources to buy lottery tickets. Often the syndicates are based around a group of work colleagues or members of a sporting club or even friends and family
This means that were one person can buy a lottery ticket, a group of like minded people could buy a hundred..This means a greater chances of having the winning numbers. But the down side in lottery syndicates is that the winnings are dispersed among the group. However if you win more often and with bigger jackpots - 50 million on the Euro Millions Lottery on the big rollovers - I am sure you would not mind sharing.
Lottery syndicates have been around for a very long time and have are very popular in Europe. They are particularly popular in the United Kingdom, where there are official syndicates that manage the money and have each member contracted so that there is no dispute over the winnings.
The only place that lottery syndicates have not gained popularity in is the United States. The main reason for this is that each of the seperate states have their own lottery with only a few lotteries being available in multiple states. The lottery that is available in the greatest number of states is the Powerball and also to a lesser degree Megamillions.
This makes lottery syndicates not very common in the USA but which there is a big demand, but unfortunately it is something very difficult to have happen. There is also the issue of the state and Federal laws. There are so many difficulties that would require to be overcome for lottery syndicates and many just aren’t eager to go through all the trouble.
The main disadvantage with traditional lottery syndicates are that there is certain way to legally bind the people of the lottery syndicates when they are a group of friends/families. This may sound strange, but when the big prize is won there can be hugh arguments and expensive legal actions. This is the reason that organizations and organised syndicates have been the most sought after solution.
One solution to the syndicate issues is the elottery syndicate system this allows the management of the syndicate by a seperate 3rd party insuring that all fees are collected and winnings are correctly distributed. At the moment syndicates are possible in the National Lottery in the United Kingdom, Euro Millions Lottery and the Spanish ElGordo Lotteries .
These syndicates are open to members from anywhere in the world (with the exception of the USA). Perhaps your syndicate will be the one to win the hugh Euro lottery Jackpots For more information on setting up or joining a syndicate and your opportunity for a free entry into the next UK lottery please view free video at Euro Lottery Syndicates
